A peaceful village at the edge of an enchanted forest now sits in ruin. The Chief’s beautiful daughter, Princess Kyra, has been captured, and Evil runs rampant throughout the cursed lands. With the village’s ranks severely diminished, an unlikely hero emerges: Little Hawk!
The game features two unique heroes. First, you’ll play as Little Hawk. He is young, street smart, and confident. Little Hawk sports a bright orange mohawk, walks with a swagger, and uses his wits and skills to outmatch a variety of opponents and obstacles. Little Hawk becomes increasingly powerful throughout the game as he defeats bosses, wins their sacred animal totems, and is bestowed with their special skills. Next, you’ll play as Princess Kyra as she tries to ascend from the dungeons deep beneath the Castle of Evil fighting her own battles along the way. She is strong, smart, and a fierce warrior. Both characters, with all their powers, will be needed in order to defeat Evil in the final battle.
The Little Hawk game features beautiful art and sound with exciting platform gameplay, multiple boss battles, two heroes, a frantic speed run from the Castle of Evil back to the village, and an epic showdown with Evil.

Our team loves 2D platformers, and while we each have our favorites, we are all inspired by Metroidvania, Mega Man, Shovel Knight, Rayman, Ori and the Blind Forest, the Dark Castle series, and a slew of Mario games!
There are too many other great games to list here, but this short list shows a great diversity of art style and game features, They instill in us the desire to make a game that can stand with these great classics in terms of fun, yet stand apart with its unique style.
bZillions is a game design studio with its roots in unique video slot machine designs. In mid-2015, the Company committed to making a non-gambling game in the platforming genre that was intended to have traditional mechanics, professional quality graphics and sounds, and a couple of unique features designed to differentiate our game.
One objective for this project is to work with a group of students ( ages 14-18 ) and allow them to participate in all facets of design and development in cooperation with a small team of professionals. In order to ship promptly, teach fundamental skills in both design and development, and to minimize commercial risk in our first non-gambling project, a more traditional style of game and gameplay was desirable. Little Hawk is as much a learning experience for bZillions as it is for our team of students.
